This role is predominantly working from home, but you will be required to work on average 2 days per week from our office in Kemble.

As our new Internal Communications Apprentice your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Internal Communications Manager in the day-to-day delivery of our internal communications plan which is predominantly digitally based (e.g. online newsletters, emails and applications)
- Creating collateral, materials and content for internal communications channels
- Assisting in the production of the weekly company e-newsletter – gathering content for copy, edit, design and layout for issue
- Assisting with recording and editing of interviews for the internal company podcast, Happier Outside
- Supporting with the preparation of employee engagement surveys, analysis of results and communication to colleagues
- Assisting with the running of our monthly feedback forum, Colleague Voice
- Maintaining and updating the communications database
- Assisting in the organisation and running of events, including fortnightly business meetings, annual business conference, leadership events and internal communications roadshows to stores
- Developing an understanding of the internal communication needs within O&CC. This will involve liaison with colleagues as well as various teams across the business to understand changes and potential implications for internal communications

Is an Internal Communications apprenticeship right for me?
We aren’t looking for someone with existing knowledge of Internal Communications, just great writing skills, a willingness to learn and a keen interest in people. This could be an ideal first job for a recent school leaver or graduate.
As the Internal Communications team works closely with departments across the business, you’ll need fantastic people and communications skills to build strong relationships with colleagues of all levels across the business and of course, be committed to gaining your qualification.
