Assembly and Test Operator
Job description:
We have a requirement for a number of production operators to join our small manufacturing team carrying out wiring and test of our product.
Main duties:
· Carrying out electro mechanical assembly
· Maintaining appropriate build records
· Carrying out electrical test (point to point, functional) and software configuration
· Liaising with the engineering and procurement team
Essential Candidate requirements
- Minimum three years’ relevant experience
- Hands-on experience in electro mechanical assembly including wire prep and following a wiring schedule
- A permit to work in the UK
- Excellent workmanship and attention to detail
- Good manual dexterity
- Good computer skills
- Good team player
- Experience of following work instructions as part of a Quality Management System
- Good communication skills
What you can Expect in Return:
- £12.50 per hour, 40 hours per week, day shift, some opportunities for overtime
